What are the different models of the Polaris general? ›

The 2023 Polaris General XP 1000 and XP 4 1000 both come with Walker Evans Velocity Series Shocks, whereas the non-XP General Sport comes stock with ZF Sachs Twin Tube shocks. Furthermore, the XP editions include 30” tires and 15” aluminum wheels, while the base model comes from the factory with 12” rims and 27” tires.

However, RANGER XP 1000 has a dual overhead cam (DOHC) engine that delivers 82 horsepower, while RANGER 1000 is powered by a single overhead cam (SOHC) engine that offers 61 horsepower and is tuned for high torque at low rpms.

The RZR XP 1000 will be available in Havasu Red Pearl, Voodoo Blue and White Lightning, and the RZR XP 4 1000 in Havasu Red Pearl and Voodoo Blue. All units feature standard Electronic Power Steering (EPS) and will be available in dealerships starting in July.
