Five Great Wake Up Songs for Kids – Number Two!
“The Wake Up Dance” by Out of the Ark Music
The classic! If you’re going to make a list of the five best wake up songs on the internet you’ve got to include this one. Everyone who works in a primary school in the United Kingdom must have heard the immortal lines “Wake up, wake up, give yourself a shake up….” a fair few times in their career. The really little ones love this song and, in fact, the only reason we actually wrote our own wake up song was that the teachers in Trisha’s school had listened to this so many times it was driving them barmy. The song was a victim of it’s own success in this case.
“Wake Up! is a great song for singing first thing in the morning and waking everyone up! It will certainly get all the children in your class moving and make sure that a good dose of oxygen reaches the brain to focus minds on the challenges ahead and promote wellbeing. This primary school song will definitely start the day off in an energetic, positive way!” – And we’d agree.
