Job Requirement
This role reports directly to the Director of People and Culture and will be responsible for assisting in leading the People and Culture strategy and execution and overseeing the day to day running of the People and Culture function; focusing on employee relations, retention of staff, communication to staff, workers’ legal matters related to hotel employees. Lead by example of our values and vision.
The Senior HR Business Partner is accountable for the support of the operational area and is a key member of the HR team with collective responsibility for the holistic performance.
You will be the Cultural Advocate of the Golden Rule in every employee action in the hotel and responsibilities will include to actively supporting succession planning, supporting the hotel as a Business Partner, supporting the Corporate People and Culture initiatives, organizing and supervising all employee experience programs, actively supporting onboarding requirements, evaluating the effectiveness of People and Culture programs and initiatives.
Knowledge And Skills
- Candidate must be fluent in English and Hungarian, both verbal and written, additional language is strong advantage
- University degree and solid experience as a senior HR generalist; preferably in an international environment
- Excellent emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in an ambiguous and fast paced environment
- A self starter who can work autonomously
- Sound knowledge of Hungarian Labor Law
- Proactive attitude
- Service and apparance, passion for Luxury Hospitality
- Strong client focus; ability to build relationships at various levels within the organization; exceptional stakeholder management and advisory skills
- Proven track record in handling multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines
- Results driven, demonstrating a sense of urgency and commitment to delivering customer requirements and team objectives
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and initiatives and solve complex problems
- Demonstrated experience in change management: articulating the business case for change, evaluating change readiness, building and executing stakeholder plans and transition activities and managing sustained change and transition
- Dealing with Employee Relations and Engagement, Employee Branding and Employee Experience matters will ensure further advantage in daily work
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and managers while maintaining the confidentiality of People and Culture
- MsOffice daily usage (Excel, Power Point, Word)
It is advantageous to have experience in special functional related tools and systems e.g.: Workday, Canva, Kahoot, LinkedIn, Tik-tok
KeyResponsibilities
- Plan/design and manage outstanding regular internal/external events within the People and Culture budget guidelines
- Ensure & coordinate engaging communication on HR Processes to Managers & Employees.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Be an ambassador for the team on the ground and support in building our brand and reputation
- Make use of global solutions and create local ones in the areas e.g. Engagement, Retention, reputation and Emplyoer Branding on the labor market.
- HR Administration: In-depth understanding of HR administrative processes and their impact on the business.
- Maintain up to date employment files and other personal records on paper and in the People and Culture digital systems
- Create strong partnerships with Talent Acquisition Manager and get directly involved only in the recruiting processes for key roles and on-boarding process
- Facilitate group sessions regarding engagement surveys and work with teams to understand drivers of motivation and work on action planning, ensuring consistent follow-up
- Monitor key metrics and recommend improvements
- Provides advice and guidance to business leaders on HR policies and practices
- Executes and accountable for major projects and/or initiatives aiming to achieve improved people engagement, improved People&Culture function (including efficiency) and/or higher customer satisfaction
- Opportunity to coordinate one or more P&C functional areas of HR processes like: employment conditions changes, rewards, engagement survey, growth, etc.
- To follow the management direction and execute any other assigned job tasks and responsibilities which are necessary for the department operation
