Netflix have done us the honour of dropping the first six episodes of Love is Blind season six on the streaming service, meaning we can have a proper binge-watch. But what exactly unfolds between Clay and Jeramey in episode five, when it comes to the bean dip comment?
In case you need a refresher, Love is Blind follows a number of participants who enter into an experiment, in the hope of finding their perfect person. Each contestant goes on a series of dates in 'blind pods' and, when they think they've developed a strong emotional connection, they get engaged.
Following their engagements, the couples head on 'honeymoon' to the Dominican Republic with their fellow couples, and get to see each other paired up for the first time. During which, there was an awkward moment between couple Laura and Jeramey and Clay and AD, when it emerged Laura had made a "bean dip" joke.
Speaking to Clay and AD, Jeramey said, "She told me to do it to you, and I was like, 'I'm gonna get f***ing canceled!'" AD responded, "Do not, I will fight you", before AD's partner Clay said the joke "offended me."
AD then told Clay and Jimmy that a bean dip is "like this t***ty smack ... [Laura] smacked the s*** out of my t**ties."
According to Urban Dictionary, a 'bean dip' is to:
Raise the underboob of a man or woman with your index and second finger.
Speaking about the moment to PEOPLE, AD insisted it was just a joke gone wrong, and there was no bad blood between her and Laura. "I don't really relish on that moment too much because it didn't really affect me," AD says. "And I'm kind of shocked that it affected them so much. So, I don't really think about that often. ... It was a girl's thing that translated and went left, I guess."
So there you go.
Love Is Blind season six is now streaming on Netflix.
