The river otter survey is conducted every year from mid-January to mid-February statewide. Bridges throughout the state are used as access points so our law enforcement and wildlife management staff to survey streams and rivers for signs. It is a survey used to track relative abundance and distribution across the state. The results provide important information for making quality management decisions for this species. 📌 #CitizenScientists can help with this work by using this form to submit river otter sightings: http://ow.ly/RL6F50DE3pd #wildohio
