Calibrated Plates

Beautiful plates. A pleasure to train with in our gym shed. Some plates did come previously scratched and a couple had the sticks torn that cover the calibrated weights. I understand they’re going to get banged up eventually but when you’re paying this much for weights a bit more quality control would be greatly appreciated.

We're glad to hear you are putting your gear to great use. It sounds like your plates could have had a rough time in transit that resulted in some damage. We have reached out via email to look into this, and make it right.

Paid Full Price - Arrived in "Boneyard" Condition

Could easily be 5-stars - I love the sleek & classic look plus love the bright coloration on each plate! But:I was excited to get these plates, but I was upset with the condition they were in upon arrival. Paint chipping on most of the plates from damage due to lack of padding. For the price of these plates, I expected a them to be protected by more than a pizza box, a super thin foam padding sheet (probably 1/16ths inch) that left 75% of the plate directly on cardboard, and thin plastic around the plate itself. To compare the rogue shipping with recently ordered plates from another brand - older edition 10kg & 15kg plates on sale. They came in a box cradled in crumpled brown paper, that box was placed in another box which was also cradled in paper as well, then that box was crossed with plastic straps. No damage whatsoever. That should be the standard for plates of this quality. I've been super happy with the products I've purchased from Rogue: Collegiate Power Rack, Stainless and Black Zinc Ohio Bars, HG Collars, Westside Reverse Hyper, 3.0 Bench, Safety Bar, to name a few. I love them all. However...The attention to detail on shipping and QC makes me second guess purchasing certain items that I have saved in my cart.Rogue - You have amazing products - put the same effort into packaging/QC as you put into everything else.

Amazing But...

I bought these 2 weeks ago and they arrived relatively quickly. Which was amazing cause I couldn't wait to use these ! When I opened them, most of them were chipped or the paint was coming off. I get it's small but they were expensive, especially shipping. Regardless, I love them.

Beautiful Plates

Beautiful plates. I see many reviewers complaining about the plate paint transferring onto bars when sliding the plates on. Yes, this happens. Who cares? Over time it’s all going to wear off from use, so it doesn’t bother me. Chips, etc. would, but my plates came in perfect shape. Thanks, Rogue, I’m very happy with these.
