But that is just the start, we have an outstanding opportunity to be part of this successful team who are focussed on continuing to design, build and enhance this product that is critical to our customers and that operates at enterprise quality and scale.

We are currently looking for engineers to join our Payroll development team, based in Auckland, New Zealand. You will join a team of hardworking, dynamic and passionate software engineers, working with key architects, product managers, and other partners continue to deliver a new generation of on-demand Enterprise solutions crafted to meet the needs of today's global businesses.

About The RoleWrite and maintain solid, robust, efficient and maintainable code using Workday's Object Oriented framework and tools

Write reliable unit, integration, and system level tests that will run on our continuous delivery pipeline

Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver features in the Workday Payroll product

Mentor and learn from other team members through pairing, code reviews, knowledge shares, hackathons, etc

About YouBasic Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with software development
• Proven experience with one or more Object Oriented languages

Other Qualifications

• You see software development as a team activity, and thrive in a highly collaborative, agile culture where you’re always teaching and learning
• Understanding of metadata-driven definitional development is a plus
• Understanding and experience with integration technologies is a plus
• Possess a strong desire to learn and continuously improve your craft
• Highly collaborative with colleagues across various functions and experience levels
• Passionate about agile software development
• Strong understanding of the value of automated tests at all levels of the testing pyramid.
• Experience as a scrum master is a plus.
