Mechanics[edit | edit source]
Shiny Rate[edit | edit source]
The base shiny rate is 1/30,000 and can be improved by 10% with an active Donator Status and can be increased 10% further with the use of a Shiny Charm. With both effects applied, the shiny rate becomes 1/24,000 for single encounters.
Secret Shiny Pokémon[edit | edit source]
A Secret Shiny is a rare shiny variant with a different particle effect. There is a 1/16 chance that it is a Secret Shiny instead of a normal shiny Pokémon if encountered through non-sweet scent enabled encounters.
Breeding[edit | edit source]
A shiny can't breed with a non-shiny.
Breeding a shiny with another shiny will guarantee the egg to hatch as a shiny Pokémon.
Breeding a Secret Shiny with a shiny will guarantee the egg to hatch as a Secret Shiny.
